Lisa Colton has been a member of the full-time academic staff since September 2003. Her research interests are wide, encompassing medieval music, issues of music and gender, and popular music. She is also a performer, playing and teaching viols. Lisa is the director of the Centre for the Study of Music, Gender and Identity (MuGI) at the University of Huddersfield.
