My areas of research include political oratory, rhetoric, and ideological studies. These cut across the political spectrum to include Conservative and Labour elites in British Politics.
Using classical oratorical analytical approaches drawn from Aristotelian concepts of ethos, pathos, logos, I have co-edited a volume on leading Labour oratory, with a follow up on Conservative oratory being planned.
I have also recently been elected Publicity Officer of the PSA Conservatives and Conservatism group, convened by Richard Hayton.
